Pain is Inevitable For Elisa’s Family

At the time of her death she was 38 y.o. with a history not medically noteworthy except neck and shoulder discomfort. Ill call her Elisa, initially from Southern, California. She moved w/two daughters to northern Arizona two years before her death from neck surgery which occurred one day after surgery while still in the post op unit. The cause of death was respiratory failure secondary to tracheal laceration.

The anesthesia department was first considered the cause of the error where the surgeon, Isaac Thapedi, claimed the anesthesiologist drove an intubation guiding stlyete through Elisa’s trachea by accident. A guiding stlyete is a mildly flexible metal tube that is placed in the center of the intubation tube to help guide the tube in the trachea. This scenario was soon eliminated when the anesthesiologist never used a metal guide. Ultimately it was determined the surgeon had accidentally sliced the trachea in an area that did not interfere with breathing until the intubation tube was removed 24 hrs after surgery. The uniqness of the case revolves around the length of errors already existing in the surgeon’s inventory. The ability of private health care to allow continued failures of serious errors might easily be considered the crimes of success. The bills for Elsia’s surgery are still paid, legal bills for malfence are insurance covered, cost of doing business is covered. Now, overall one case might be reviewed by the regulatory medical whom has the power to limit Isaac Thapedi’s surgeries. Not so common.

The social fallout should be personally noteworthy by the surgeon. Death of a patient by error should be felt by some culperable individual. You would think so? If this surgeon has trails of major damages and deaths how is it possible he is still operating?

Rich with lawyers and cover ups of evidence lies deep within the system. The nurse who speaks up is a liability and makes no money for the business. The physicians make money and is protected. Whistle-blowers are destroyed, and this surgeon is allowed to destroy lives until his Alzheimer’s disease prevents him from further holding the scalpel. So many observers would ask how is it possible Isaac Thapedi could destroy so many lives??

Most incompetent providers have not only a compliment of clinicians knowledgeable in evidence obscurity but lawyers noteworthy for deep pockets; judges love deep pockets; they really do..Question asked..question answered.

So much has transformed nursing from one on one total care to what maybe defined as a ride by slapping of health treatments. This statement comes from patient interviews whose own personal history has foundations in nursing careers.Meaning, nurses, as patients are the evaluated assessment source that can define quality. So many patients become patients for life as basic health care education is not taught from early life, and few are knowledgeable of what health really means.

The pandemic invention raised health care needs simply by sitting home and eating. The overall obesity is now about 35% of the general population. The obesity factor is the source of health disparities in the U.S.

Part of my legacy is to openly address these fat issues which finally has gotten some traction, but not enough. People whom are obese rarely define their own short comings and obesity is costing the country a health care debacle of a financial disasters. The desire for better eating habits must he a part of our culture if we are to improve the quality of our lives and that of our children. This topic is endless and our culture now has fallen to its all time high of late stage diabetes which revolves around obesity. I try to get this message out but few notice until medication is needed to stabilize gone wild blood sugars. The present day health care system can not help you eat right, it’s a personal issue. Cancer gets a great start via adiposeity chemistry for cell storage.

I was fortunate enough to have advanced nutrition in a major university which taught me how to eat. The importance of proper nutrition has escaped our country noted by its enormous obesity ratings and outrageous stats gone wild for health care costs. The final chapter in any nutrition course is the importance of whole fruit as the stability for avoidable diabetes which is so not adherent by the general public. Although animal fat is necessary for the storage of specific vitamins, it’s high caloric value need not be overdone. Refined sugar came first in the race to massive rise in later life diabetes. Whole fruit in exchange for that Starbucks tasty sweetheart drink is the key to live longer w/o fat destroying health quality. The u.s. diabetic stats are totally out of control.

Who Was That Bad Doctor in Arizona?

Ten years ago I read the story of an Arizona nurse whom had her license revoked by AZBN for teaching a patient the standard of practice r/t liver transplants and the patient chose to go home and not be interested in this avenue of treatment. The surgeon went bonkers and demanded the nurse ‘s license be revoked. After a fashion of AZBN political corruption the nurse lost her license, and the evidence against her stunned the nursing community. Amanda Trujillo became the whipping girl and before the plandemic gave the world an open view of nurse corruption; the fools in this case whom worked for the AZBN, particularly Valerie Smith, defined one of many horrors found in nursing in Arizona. Amanda spent many years studying and working w/o priors that weren’t fabricated. SM opened Pandora’s box on this case but it made no difference. The plandemic tweaked corruption a bit more and now the nursing world is purely dead for the working nurse to be honest with their patients. The self will run riot by both physicians and regulations has destroyed many, many lives and so many of the dead and their families are unaware they’re the power of the cash register. The truth in Arizona nursing can not be told.

Having had many contentious episodes about nurses involved with reporting other nurses r/t nursing of patients I would so often wonder the seriousness of the public health dangers we are viewing. So often damages fall upon patients whose knowledgeable information about their own condition is very limited. The designated role of all nursing should maintain what they’re trained to do. The application of safety principles can be monitored, or not, and so often the greatest American capitalism theater rolls over everything justice misses and uses nurses & patients to do so. Nursing is like the justice department; it can do its job, or not. This fact is well noted throughout the health care system which will display nurses offending other nurses for the higher financial road. This can easily be demonstrated via governmental regulations involved with high rolling attorneys appropriated to protect their capitalism gains. The bus is waiting and all warmed up to run over nurses who talk the wrong language. The truth in nursing of the covid era and post pandemic events are about counting money; health care in the U.S. is the highest form of American capitalism that is strictly a crap shoot for the general safety of the public. The Body

I think people of the U.S. miss the world they live in as our health status in many areas is deplorable. Nearly 37% of total population is obese which contributes to other multiple maladies causing poor performances in many areas. The damage done by the pandemic is now being felt through out our economic foundations. We must focus on basic health principles which start with known quality nutrition with regular exercise. We do not need to shut down the country over a single cell, respiratory virus that only infects individuals in poor health. Our children need health education and not retarded gender alternatives. The U.S. is now the laughing stock of the world. Can we start over? I don’t know, but I refuse to follow present day government rules.

Having had alcohol abuse issues in my earlier life the rehabilitation of the 12 step AA program started me on a course of more than a sober life. The involvement of following the program by finding the character disorder that makes the individual unable to stop drinking from the first drink is found by a desire to be mentally stable. One can stop drinking and use AA for that purpose but it takes more to get to the foundations of the causes for this anti social behavior. This course I found doesn’t get close to the problem by itself. Each participant needs to be viewed and promoted by not the one w/its own character disorder. This is what I learned from the 12 step program.

I would first define the focus of healthy living by discovering unhealthy living and for me exposure of my first love of alcohol was the key to success. Alcohol brought me to my knees early in.life and forced me to promote and find a better way and the help of treatment including exercise. I was a gifted athlete which helped and w/tolerance for distance running I saved my own life. Avoiding alcohol and tobacco and refined sugar was a Jack LaLane state of mind. Near death from alcohol and suicide attempts created the need for a better way. I learned young. Now in my 70s I refuse to accept alcohol and bad living and take zero medications. Swimming and hiking long distances allows my brain the time it needs to work out a journey for a better way of life.

Peck as Mellville’s Ahab was my very favorite I would be like to be in real life. A man devoted to his own cause in spite of all it had damaged him already. He searched and seached for avengement against unattainable forces and he just keep on going. Right or wrong was irrelevant to his drive for revenge. In the end he welcomed death like only a man of Meville’s creation could; the message of failure and death because of his passion did not matter to him.
