The Federilist Like No Other…Student Loans On Loan Limits

The political structure now occurring in the U.S. is by a President like No Other. The following, although not r/t nursing, is his writing is credited w/actions on topic. A lengthy post for him and painfully descriptive of economic disasters facing tax payers. As Trump works on financial balance he finds holes that U.S. dollars go bye bye. His restrictions on nurse financing student notes are unique. Many complaints w/very bad nurses opinions. Balancing the budget via nurses reduction in the ‘Professional ‘ category is odd, as nurses are, so far, the only deletion in those types of available loans. Nurse billets of administration and regulations require more than A.D. credentials. Perhaps a dream world move for field nurses as less administrators and regulations can only improve nursing for all associated w/it. Except those in Adm and Regulations; specifically AZBN. Not associated w/this opinion is the real post of the president. He defines his personal opinions coupled w/finances of upsetting consequences. Whose next? The list of non professional loan categories for restricted loans is more than just nursing.

Fact: Department of Education data indicates that 95% of nursing students borrow below the annual loan limit and therefore are not affected by the new caps.

Further, placing a cap on loans will push the remaining graduate nursing programs to reduce their program costs, ensuring that nurses will not be saddled with unmanageable student loan debt.

It is important to remember that the loan limits are limited to graduate programs and have no impact on undergraduate nursing programs, including four-year bachelor’s of science in nursing degrees and two-year associate’s degrees in nursing. 80% of the nursing workforce does not have a graduate degree.

  1. I doubt your belief that these new student loan limits will effect the number of personnel applied to Adm & Regulation Nursing boards. These positions will always remain active until regulations are over hauled or perhaps completely eliminated. The federal adm is very aware of the many failures in nursing regulations.
