Disruptive?

Daily writing prompt
What is a word you feel that too many people use?

When you use your 1st amendment rights in any alledged legal court it is viewed as “disruptiveadded to initial c/c giving the corruptors more power over you. The truth is irrelevant. The constitution is in perils.

  1. Hey, I always thought a person is innocent until proven guilty! What’s up with AZBN doing lengthy ‘investigations’ of nurses applying for licensure through reciprocity? I meet all their basic requirements, even have an active RN license in Cal and yet they are holding up my AZ license that I need to start a job next week. AZBN claims only that they need to “complete the investigation”. Are they trying to implicate that I’ve done something wrong? It’s been 14 weeks since I applied for licensure, paid all the money to prepare for the job, colleagues are waiting for my help, etc. Where’s the ‘just cause’ determination of guilt that justifies AZBN’s treatment? Their treatment is slanderous and costly for a nurse on many levels. When I have communicated my concerns with them, their response showed callous disregard.
I’m led to deduce that AZBN is discriminating against targeted nurses. The fact that I’ve kept my head above water for 40 years, kept working, held onto my ethics and license and still managed to be a whistleblower is probably why I continue to be discriminated against. I see on this site that other nurse warriors have experienced the same. Question: Does the State Attorney General and the Legislature know about this injustice occurring in the corporate AZBN? In a time of severe, crisis-level nursing shortage, transparency is needed. Speak up!! Whistleblowing to protect public health and safety is protected by federal law. Nurses should not be retaliated for it.

    1. California is not compact so lic is like a new Nurse, AZBN is notoriously slow and routinely rude. They’re well known for retaliation against nurses of integrity. Many wont work in Arizona. If you do finally get it it’s good to have a lic in both compact states and one from of California, which isn’t a compact state. Separate the monsters of deceit.

      1. Thanks for the info, Perry! I finally got through to the knuckle head, AZBN, today after I wrote to them describing what I perceive to be poor treatment of nurses. They had some lame excuse about how they have stacks of applicants to go through and they care about safe practice, blah, blah, blah. I asked, “Hey, doesn’t the state need nursing instructors?” Now they are pretending to help me so I can start my teaching job next week. Too much unnecessary, redundant paperwork!

      2. Good point! Does anyone in government care about ‘safety’ when we have such severe public health problems and still no infrastructure, no system of care for dealing with it? It’s a crime-scene and marketplace.
