Inside Nursing 4 July 2023

The foundational principles of modern nursing by many initial followed nursing advancements is under new management. The Days of the critical care nurse giving the delusional and violent patient the ‘nurses coctail’ are gone and we are left with violence. The part Florence left out. The dissemination of the registered nurse’s power to improve patient care $ has effectively diminished the trained and experienced responses to environmental threats. The additional wave of workplace assessed against nurses during the pandemic must be some kind of record. If the er nurse gave a ‘nurse’s cocktail ‘ of ms, Haldol and Ativan to a crazy drunk w/o an order in the pandemic era goodbye nurse and the admstrative violence begins with nurses being nurses. The good news is the horrors in health care are under big lights as workplace violence at many levels is addressed with OSHA creating new categories and new policies and more cultural resources. This is an answer as strong staff shortage issues are linked by general population complaints. Improving any patient treatment will not happen until health care providers are protected. It’s historical nursing history of this point of pandemic nursing and coercion with major deviation of law previously known by regulations of adm law.
